Day 1: Day 1
Start your Ring Road self drive tour in Iceland by picking up your rental car at Keflavik International Airport or in Reykjavik city. Then begin exploring all that Reykjavik has to offer. Visit famous landmarks such as the Hallgrimskirkja church, the Harpa concert hall, and the Sun Voyager sculpture. Stroll through the old town and check out the many unique shops, cafes, and restaurants. In the evening, enjoy the vibrant nightlife scene with live music and dancing. Accommodation is in Reykjavik.
Day 2: Day 2
Today, start your drive by heading to the famous Golden Circle. This route takes you to some of Iceland’s most popular attractions, such as the Thingvellir National Park, the Gullfoss waterfall, and the geothermal area of Haukadalur. Drive along the South Coast of Iceland today. This scenic route takes you past the black sand beaches of Vik, the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, and the Skaftáreldahraun lava fields. Make sure to stop at the Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. Accommodation is in the Skaftafell area.
Day 4: Day 4
Continue your drive along the South Coast today and explore the Skaftafell geopark and the Vatnajökull National Park.
