From there, head to Thingvellir National Park, where you can see the tectonic plates that make up Iceland. Then, it's on to Gullfoss Waterfall and the Geysir Geothermal Area before continuing to South Iceland and its black sand beaches. Don't forget to stop at Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls en route! After exploring South Iceland, return to Reykjavik for a day of rest and relaxation. Day 1: Day 1
After arriving at Keflavík international airport or Reykjavík city, your first stop should be the capital city of Reykjavík. Start by checking into your accommodation and then explore all that the city has to offer. Reykjavík is a charming city with a unique atmosphere. Be sure to visit some of the city's famous landmarks, such as the Hallgrímskirkja church, the Sun Voyager sculpture, and the Perlan building. You can also stroll through the quaint streets of the old town, do some shopping, and try some of the local cuisine. In the evening, enjoy the vibrant nightlife scene with some live music or dancing.
Day 2: Day 2
On the second day of your tour, venture out of Reykjavík to explore the famous Golden Circle. This route takes you to some of Iceland's most popular attractions, such as the Gullfoss waterfall, the Geysir hot springs, and the Thingvellir national park. Start your day by driving to the Gullfoss waterfall, where you can admire the powerful cascade of water. Then, head to the Geysir hot springs area to see the geysers shooting water into the air. Finally, visit Thingvellir national park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is home to the world's oldest parliament. End your day with a relaxing soak in one of Iceland's many natural hot springs.
Day 3: Day 3
On the third day of your tour, head south to explore the picturesque south coast of Iceland. The drive takes you through some of Iceland's most stunning scenery, including glaciers, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. Your first stop should be the town of Vík, where you can explore the nearby beaches and cliffs. Then, continue driving to the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, the Skaftáreldahraun lava fields, and the Skaftafell geopark.
