This 2-day self-drive tour takes you to some of Iceland's most popular attractions and gives you a taste of the vibrant Reykjavík nightlife. The Golden Circle is a must-see for any visitor to Iceland. On this tour, you'll get to experience all its highlights, including the geothermal area of Haukadalur, Gullfoss waterfall, and Thingvellir National Park.

Day 1: Day 1

After picking up your rental car at Keflavík airport, head east towards the Golden Circle. Your first stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the site of the world's first parliament. Here, you can walk along the tectonic plates that divide Iceland and see the beautiful Silfra fissure, where you can snorkel or dive between the North American and Eurasian continents. Next, head to the geothermal area of Haukadalur, home to the geysers Geysir and Strokkur. From here, it's a short drive to Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most famous waterfalls. We recommend ending your day at the Secret Lagoon, where you can relax in the warm waters. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before heading to a bar or club for some of Reykjavík's famous nightlife. Overnight in Reykjavík.

Day 2: Day 2

Spend your last day in Reykjavík exploring the city. stroll down Laugavegur, the city's main shopping street, and visit Höfði House, where Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev held their famous meeting in 1986\. If you're feeling active, take a hike up Mt. Esja or go for a swim in one of the city's many public pools. Overnight in Reykjavík. Depart from Keflavík airport on your flight home.
