Day 1: Day 1
Start your Iceland adventure by picking up your rental car at Keflavik International Airport or in Reykjavik city. Drive towards North Iceland and stop at the Deildartunguhver hot spring, the largest hot spring in Europe! You'll be amazed by the natural beauty of this place. Accommodations for the night are in the Hvammstangi area.
Day 2: Day 2
Today, travel to the Illugastaðir seal colony and the Hvítserkur rock formation. Admire the stunning Kolugljúfur canyon and the amazing views of the valley. Accommodations for the night are in the Akureyri area.
Day 3: Day 3
Today, head to the Goðafoss waterfall and the Mývatn lake. Stop at the Skútustaðagígar pseudocraters and the Dimmuborgir lava field. marvel at the Hverir mud pools and the Námafjall geothermal area. Accommodations for the night are in the Mývatn area.
Day 4: Day 4
Today, visit the town of Húsavík and the Þeistareikir geothermal area. Stop at the Krafla volcano and the Víti crater. Accommodations for the night are in the Mývatn area.
Day 5: Day 5
Today, visit the town of Akureyri and explore its many shops and restaurants. Return to Reykjavik city and enjoy a night out on the town! Accommodations for the night are in the Reykjavik area.
Day 6: Day 6
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore Reykjavik city or the Reykjanes peninsula. Your Iceland adventure comes to an end as you return your rental car to Keflavik International Airport.
