Day 1: Day 1

After arriving at Keflavík International Airport or Reykjavík city, you'll start your exploration of Reykjavík. A must-see is the Hallgrímskirkja church, which offers stunning panoramic views of the city. Other highlights include the Reykjavík City Museum, Perlan observation deck, and the Laugardalur geothermal pool. In the evening, enjoy a delicious meal of traditional Icelandic cuisine. Day 2: Day 2

Today, you'll venture out to see some of Iceland's most famous natural wonders on the Golden Circle route. Your first stop will be the Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the site of the world's first parliament. Next, you'll see the Gullfoss waterfall and the geothermal area of Haukadalur, home to the geysers Geysir and Strokkur

Day 3: Day 3

The South Coast of Iceland is your destination today. You'll start with a visit to Seljalandsfoss, a beautiful waterfall that you can walk behind. Skógafoss is another must-see waterfall, and you can also hike to the top of the nearby cliffs for stunning views. The black sand beaches of Reynisfjara and Dyrhólaey are also not to be missed. Day 4: Day 4

You'll continue exploring the South Coast today with a visit to the Skaftafell National Park, part of the Vatnajökull National Park. Here you can hike among glaciers, waterfalls, and black lava fields. The Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is also a must-see, where you can witness huge icebergs floating in the water

Day 5: Day 5

Today you'll start driving towards the Eastfjords of Iceland. The Eastfjords are known for their stunning landscapes, with towering mountains, pristine fjords, and quaint fishing villages. Make sure to stop at the scenic villages of Egilsstaðir and Seyðisfjörður

Overnight: Fáskrúðsfjörður area.

Day 6: Day 6

Today you'll explore more of the Eastfjords. The village of Neskaupstaður is a good starting point, where you can learn about the Eastfjords' history and culture. Then head to Mjóifjörður, a secluded fjord known for its dramatic landscapes

Overnight: Egilsstaðir area.

Day 7: Day 7

The north east of Iceland is your destination today. Highlights include the Stuðlagil canyon, the Dettifoss waterfall, and the Ásbyrgi canyon. The Lake Mývatn area is also worth a visit, with its geothermal pools, mud pits, and lava formations

Overnight: Húsavík area.

Day 8: Day 8

Today you'll explore the area around Lake Mývatn. Highlights include the Hverir mud pools, the Dimmuborgir lava formations, and the Skútustaðagígar pseudo-craters. You'll also see the Goðafoss waterfall and the town of Akureyri, the capital of the north

Day 9: Day 9

The Tröllaskagi peninsula is your destination today. Highlights include the Hofsós swimming pool, the Glaumbær farmstead, and the Skagafjörður horse breeding area. You can also take a dip in the Krossneslaug geothermal pool

Day 10: Day 10

Now you'll explore the north of Iceland. Highlights include the Hvítserkur sea cliff, the Kolugljúfur canyon, and the Illugastaðir seal watching area. You'll also see the Hvammstangi geothermal pool and the powerful Dettifoss waterfall

Day 11: Day 11

Today you'll head towards the Westfjords. The Westfjords are known for their dramatic landscapes and pristine nature. Highlights include the village of Ísafjörður, the Bolafjall viewpoint, and the Rauðasandur red sand beach

Overnight: Drangsnes area or Hólmavík area.

Day 12: Day 12

After breakfast you'll explore more of the Westfjords. Highlights include the Strandir coastline, the Djúpavík abandoned herring factory, and the Krossneslaug geothermal pool. You can also take a hike to the Dynjandi waterfall

Day 13: Day 13

On the 13th day will you'll continue exploring the Westfjords. Highlights include the Reykjanes peninsula, the Súðavík village, and the Ísafjörður town. You'll also see the Látrabjarg sea cliffs, the Rauðasandur red sand beach, and the Bolafjall viewpoint

Overnight: Ísafjörður area

Day 14: Day 14

Today you'll explore the Flateyri village and the Dynjandi waterfall. You can also take a hike to the Kolugljúfur canyon or the Illugastaðir seal watching area

Overnight: Patreksfjörður area

Day 15: Day 15

After breakfast you'll explore the Látrabjarg sea cliffs and the Rauðasandur red sand beach. You can also take a dip in the Krossneslaug geothermal pool

Day 16: Day 16

Today you'll explore West Iceland. Highlights include the Reykhólar village, the Grábrók crater, and the Glanni waterfall. You can also visit the Borgarnes town and the Deildartunguhver hot springs

Day 17: Day 17

The Borgarfjörður area is your destination today. Highlights include the Hraunfossar waterfalls, the Reykholt historic site, and the Hvítárvatn lake. You can also take a dip in the Deildartunguhver hot springs

Overnight: Snæfellsnes peninsula area

Day 18: Day 18

Today you'll explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Highlights include the Ytri Tunga beach, the Bjarnarfoss waterfall, the Rauðfelsgljúfur canyon, and the Kirkjufell mountain. You can also take a dip in the Lóndrangar geothermal pool

Overnight: Reykjavík city

Day 19: Day 19

Depending on your flight schedule, you can use this day to explore Reykjavík city or Reykjanes peninsula. Your Iceland adventure comes to an end as you return your rental car at Keflavík International Airport.
