On this 5-day Iceland tour, you'll experience the best of what the country has to offer, from its stunning natural scenery to its vibrant capital city. You'll start by exploring Reykjavik, with its colorful houses and lively cafes. Then, you'll head out into the Icelandic countryside to see glaciers, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. You'll also have a chance to see the Northern Lights. This is the perfect way to experience all that Iceland has to offer in a short amount of time.
Day 1: Day 1
After arriving at Keflavík International Airport, you'll pick up your rental car and head into Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. Reykjavík is a charming city with colorful houses and lively cafes. Spend the day exploring the city, and in the evening, head out in search of the Northern Lights.
Day 2: Day 2
On the second day of your Iceland tour, you'll explore the Golden Circle, a popular tourist route that takes you to some of the country's most famous natural wonders. You'll see the Thingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament was founded in 930 AD. You'll also see the Gullfoss waterfall and the geothermal area of Haukadalur, where you can see bubbling mud pots and steaming geysers. In the evening, head back to Reykjavík for a night out on the town.
Day 3: Day 3
On the third day of your tour, you'll explore the Reykjanes peninsula, a UNESCO Global Geopark. The Reykjanes peninsula is home to some of Iceland's most unique landscapes, including the lava fields of Reykjanesfjall and the geothermal area of Kleifarvatn. In the evening, head back to Reykjavík for another chance to see the Northern Lights.
Day 4: Day 4
On the fourth day of your Iceland tour, you'll explore the Borgarfjörður area, home to some of the country's most beautiful waterfalls. You'll also see the Hvítárvatn lake and the Reykjafoss waterfall. In the evening, head back to Reykjavík for one last night out on the town.
Day 5: Day 5
On the final day of your tour, you'll head back to Keflavík International Airport for your flight home.
