After picking up your rental car, head east from Keflavík International Airport towards the Reykjanes Peninsula. This area is renowned for its stunning landscapes, with its black sand beaches, lava fields, and volcanoes. Be sure to stop at the Krysuvik geothermal area and the Kleifarvatn lake. As you make your way down the south coast, you will pass through the towns of Selfoss and Hella. From Hella, continue towards your accommodation in the Vik area.
