25 Day epic Self-drive Summer Tour around Iceland

Your adventure starts as soon as you land in Keflavík International Airport, where you will pick up your rental car. From there, it's a short drive to the capital city of Reykjavík. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can spend the day exploring the city. Reykjavík is full of interesting museums, as well as great restaurants and cafes. Make sure to walk around the city center and visit some of the iconic landmarks, such as Hallgrímskirkja church and Harpa concert hall. After spending a day in the capital, it's time to start exploring the rest of Iceland. The first stop is the Reykjanes peninsula, which is part of the Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark. Here you can see the unique landscapes that have formed over centuries of volcanic activity. This is the last day exploring the Westfjords. You will head for the west of Iceland where you can visit the town of Reykhólar, the Grábrók crater and Glanni waterfall

This includes the Grábrók crater, the Glanni waterfall, the Deildartunguhver hot springs, Reykholt historic site, the hraunfossar waterfalls, Barnafoss waterfall, and the Surtshellir lava cave. In the evening, you'll head to your accommodation in the Borgarnes area.

Today you will visit Snæfellsnes peninsula geopark, Ytri tunga beach, Bjarnarfoss waterfall, Rauðfelsgljúfur canyon, Arnarstapi, Hellnar, Djúpalónssandur, Lóndrangar, Saxhólar craters, Kirkjufell mountain, and Kirkjufoss waterfall.
