Akranes is the largest town in West Iceland. At Langisandur beach you can bathe in the ocean, build sandcastles, and enjoy the view and bathe in Guðlaug, a hot pool located in the rock garden of Langisandur. If you are into photography or just interested in exploring new things you need to look at Akranes lighthouses. Down by the harbor, you will notice two lighthouses.
